Benjamin Montague

If after looking at all of the other stuff on my website you’re now reading this section, it most likely means that you want to know stuff about me that I’d like you to know.  I have spent my life all over the world, but mostly in Chicago, Puerto Rico, and London.  I love all of those places for different reasons.  Three years of studying acting at Mountview Academy in London led to 9 years of practicing acting in Chicago, along with producing, writing, and playing music.  I’ve been honored to be a member of Chicago’s Gift Theatre Company since it’s inception 9 years ago.  I’m also proud to have co-founded a Shakepeare theatre ensemble for students called A Crew of Patches.  During my last two years in Chicago I had a business, sold a business, then co-created, executive produced and starred in a movie called, “Counting Backwards”.  This feature premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival and went on to win awards across the country.  It is now being distributed by Vanguard Cinema.  I am currently based in Los Angeles and I’m enjoying all of this stuff.
